Family Matters??

A few times I have been left disappointed with family and learnt that you can really only ever depend on yourself and no one else – that if you want something done, do it yourself. I do not expect anything from my family, as I have never received anything from them that warrants me to do so. I have faith, trust and devotion to my parents and in my family that is my own pillar. I don’t like my family, apart from one set being an Aunty and an Uncle and a cousin. I tolerate them, see them when I have to and do not make an effort.

With this wedding thing, I kind of hoped I would get something out of them, that a wedding would bring out the best and for pre and post wedding I would be able to have a family that cared. But no. Nothing has changed.

I don’t really know why I expected them to care now or why I actually wanted them to.

But I have my parents and that is all that matters really as they make up for everyone with all their love and support.

Ok... So I saw this dress (back shorter one) and well I think it is to perfect for words for my Bridesmaids!! It has frilly lacey parts, in that simple strapless design I am leaning towards ... why oh why can not see this dress on its own??

Peace and Quiet

So for a short time my To Do List weddingwise anyway, is up to date and I have a few weeks breathing space before I update it. I can not wait to get back to Melbourne and have some fun with Melbourne Lady before her big day!

And once again all is right in the world... House is all sorted and totally ours now which is another plus and with the celebrant booked, that tops the big important things off! *happy sigh*

What I can do is start to get ceremony/reception decoration idea's as when we get back from Melbourne, I have an appointment with the decorators so it would be nice to have some examples on what we want. But thats still nothing urgent so need to worry about it!

Secret Session

Feeling oddly inspired to try on a wedding dresses I headed to Donnabella on Saturday for a secret session of wedding dress trying on and well... do you recognise this dress??

Yes, it is the one I tried earlier on in the year at the wedding expo in January. The one that hangs in the back of my mind .... it was there on Saturday. I tried it on again. I love it more than before. I think I may have found "The Dress"

I am nearly 100% certain that this really could be "IT"

A little stressed out at the moment.

I have a budget, and I am trying sooo hard to save $$ but I am so friggin stressed out I am going to my hairdresser and getting my hair cut, coloured and blowdried!!!

I also found 3 grey hairs in my part line this morning and dont want to know what lies beneath. I know they dont really appear over night but how could I have missed them for so long? Right there in my part, I look at every day. Over it.

My word of advice to anyone:

Do not try to buy a house, sort out renters for another, be a Bridesmaid and have a full time job.... All while trying to plan your own wedding! I have so taken on to much right about now!

It's all good, as soon as we get the house sorted and the tenants moved in that'll be a huge load off my mind and in 3 weeks Melbourne Lady's Wedding will be over and yeah. Just been a rough couple of days.... I can see the sun coming out from behind the clouds... Kinda. Almost.

Melbourne Lady

So as I went to see Melbourne Lady for her Hens, I was finally able to see her e.ring in person and WOAH!! It would have to be at least 3 cts - its just like a wall of sparkle! Melbourne Man really did a good job picking that one out. Then again, big and sparkly - you can not really go wrong with that. What girl doesnt love bling?? My poor little 1ct seemed tiny in comparison. Her side diamonds where as big as mine which is how I know its gotta be 3ct at least. Mmm Diamonds!! Sure are her best friend lol

Her shoes are Alan Pinkus and come in at a daring $299. She loves her shoes and hell I love those shoes! My darling H2B is shocked, then again he still in the dark about how much things really do cost when you put the words "bridal" and "wedding" with it. He also begged me not to do the whacky and I assured him, as tempting as it is, I'll TRY not to lol... But dam, they are stunning!

And of course here she is in her amazingly beautiful dress, looking every bit the bride. Aaaww.... Only 17 more days till I am back to complete my Bridesmaid duty and 23 days till she will be walking down the aisle to marry the total sweety that is Melbourne Man! *squeals* So excited!!!
